What do I wear? Long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed toe shoes, preferably boots and jeans.
Where is the location? We are totally mobile, so the class can happen at your shop, garage, driveway or even a field (fields would need a dirt area for fire reasons).
What personal protection equipment (PPE) used? You will be provided a leather apron with sleeves, welding gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs and a welding helmet.
Is it safe? Yes, welding is safe when done properly and with proper precautions taken. This is why we will be going over safety when we begin.
What welding process do we use? You will be welding with MIG (metal inert gas) or properly known as GMAW (gas metal arc welding). It is a wire fed process that is quickly learned.
Since it’s a date night can we bring drinks? No, alcohol can not be consumed before or during our class.
Is it only for couples? No it is for everyone, but there is minimum of 6 people.
